In what ways can IMNRC improve its use of technology?

Isn´t this obvious? Improving the internet conection!!! We have the necessary technological stuff so nothing else is needed.

Will technology ever stop progressing?

The answer to this is hidden on the question itself:
Technology: (from Greek τέχνηtechne, "art, skill, cunning of hand"; and -λογία-logia)
So the closest meaning of technology is: A piece of art made by the logic, Right?
As we have seen thorough the years, the art NEVER stop being developed even from artistic stuff like the japanese with their vessels from 10,000 years ago.
So its confirmed: technology won´t stop progressing.

If you could learn everything you need by implanting a chip in your brain, would you do it?

If I could nowadays (at the age I am) I would be seriously tempted to do it. Just two little things stop me from doing it. The first one depends from the question above [...everything you need...] Who the hell can determine what I need?

Is well know that the chip can´t storage all the knowledge of the humanity (something cool according me) so What does "everything I need" means? Everything I am allowed to know? or Every "most common" knowledge? Just in the case I would storage all the knowledge of the world I would do it without thinking except because the next: The way of.

Whatever you live on your life is what determines what you are and what you do. If I since I were a child would have had the chip in my head I would not be the same, my science teacher Mr. Noe would never inspire me about science and the search for the truth. I would never feeled the same when reading something the first time, because I already would knew it. I would never meet my three best friends due the school is absurd since I know "everything I would need". I would never realise that I was too bad for Chermistry on the University or better than expected on all the branches of biology.

I consider myself the cold and courageous enough to insert a chip with all the knowledge of the world in my head and based on it, create some futuristic stuff (after all, I would knew everything), but each time I stop to think about it, I realise that I would not be the same at all, the way I´m pround to be.

How do you imagine education will be like in 50 years?

In order to explain myself about how I imagine the futurue on education, first click on the image in the right side, appreciate it, feel it. Now realize that there is a little person in the center of the same. S/he can (apparently) see  the entire universe around; maybe a single hand movement would be enough to move the entire universe as s/he want. All the knowledge is there, on that "badass-computer-projector-classroom". Now answer the next question: What s/he can learn about?  S/he has the entire universe with that bad-ass technologic device but at the same time, s/he can´t learn anything from it.

The technology in excess is useless the most of the time. A small amount of it otherwise is very usefull, because you can now use you IMAGINATION, something underated nowadays.
A very stunning example of what I am talking about is the next:

Japan is the top country of robotics development with 40% of the robot´s patents worldwide (Is a lot for a too little country). Many of the technological devices used everyday were developed in Japan. Is a very economicaly stable country, (Japan has been proportionaly richer than USA since around 20-30 years ago) so is expected that they use top technology on the classrooms Isn´t? Well, actually they don´t use anything else than blackboard and chalk (yes, you are reading right, CHALK). Why? Because they want to students use their mind, their intelligence, to unleash all their potential.

So my augury to the incoming years is that the conscious  countries about the situation above are going to keep just the necessary amount of technology, and some others are going to waste a lot of money on technology in education due "technology is cool" (even if I don´t know how it works). And finally some other countries are not going to spend any money because they can´t affort it.

Thanks.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of using technology in a classroom?

The technology can be an advantage if it is used properly, that big "IF" is essencial. Technology IF used properly can improve the desired performance (learning faster, better, stronger...) and IF not it could improve the undesired performance too (distraction, cheating, even bullying...). My personal opinion (and advise) about that is to not use something that we can´t deal with. Do you remember "The Sorcerers Apprentice"?

Is education only a collection of knowledge?

To answer this cuestion we have to see which is the purpouse of education. On first instance the purpouse of learning ANYTHING is to do something new. When you learn to read, you realize what does you world around says, when you learn to count, you NOW can use money (just saying). I other words, learn something is to be able to deal with more situations, some of them are insignificant (lose some money), some are vital (save someone/self life).
Since we start on kindergarden we start to archive a pretty wide collection of knowledge, that´s for true, but as I said, it prepare us for incoming situations, some situations that are nowadays underrated like how to deal with the other people, how to handle you feelings in order to be immune to depression, how to be a good civil person (not that shit called civics and ethnics).

Education in a nutshell, make us harder, better... stronger.

Last proyect

well guys is nice to see that we have reached the end of the course and in the next lines will be a summary of all the works did in "Technology on education" Here we go:
